Not much changes in the Austrain Top 10 after Christmas Holidays, Taio Cruz continues on the top spot with Hangover for the fifth consecutive week, followed by Lana Del Rey and Gotye feat. Kimbra, who make a huge jump from 46 to 3. Taio Cruz is also the highest new entry with Troublemaker at number 39. The christmas-themed songs don't have similar drops as in many other countries, Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You falls 20-22, Wham!'s Last Christmas 26-30, Bon Jovi's cover of Leonard Cohen's classic Hallelujah 29-35 and Wiener Sängerknaben (Vienna Boys' Choir) debuts at number 40 with their version of Stille Nacht. There's an interesting thing with one song that is on the chart in two different versions, the "Coca-Cola commercial song" Shake Up Christmas. Train's original version from 2010 re-entered the chart before christmas and is now at #63 as Natasha Bedingfield's 2011 update titled Shake Up Christmas 2011 falls in its second week from 45 to 70, not even being able to compete against Train's one-year old verison. On the albums chart Michael Bublé continues for a second week at the top, Adele is at number two with 21 followed by Hubert von Goisern at the third spot with his album EntwederUndOder. With the exception of Bublé, Adele, Amy Winehouse at number four and German schlager singer Andrea Berg at #10, the Top 10 is dominated by Austrian acts.

Rihanna's You Da One hasn't exacly catched fire anywhere yet and in Austria it enters at a lowly number 45. On the albums chart the same thing happens as in most other countries this week, Michael Bublé makes room for Adele at the top. In its 49th week on the chart it only the second week Adele tops the Austrian albums chart, the first being the week it entered the chart. The singles chart number one Gotye debuts at #22 with Making Mirrors, the third album from the Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter, who's real name is Wouter De Backer. Michael Bublé's Christmas falls from the top spot all the way to #42.
